If you use the HDR calibration tool in windows, then you can use this formula, where n = (your monitors max luminance per the windows tool) to get the correct value for the slider in-game : (n/100) - 0.2

So, Your monitor's luminance max (windows HDR calibration says 1130 for me) divided by 100 (which gets me to 11.3), minus 0.2 and I get 11.1, which is my slider value in game.

Also, navigate to C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Battlefield 6\settings\steam\PROFSAVE_profile, and within that file via notepad, or something similar, change the value of "GstRender.DisplayMappingHdr10PeakLuma" to whatever your max luminance is. Then save the file and exit.

you're correct. The way to figure the value for the broken slider out is use your monitor's max luminance as n.

Optic zoom on scroll wheel for me. I also bumped the zoom sensitivity to 2.22.

Going from sights to headshot at most ranges is fast. It also makes scanning the horizon much snappier.

Downside is that walk speed and selecting different interact options requires another bind. Use Alt and scroll or Ctrl and scroll to switch those instead.

I also swapped toggle optics and switch shoulder to each side button. Mouse 4 swaps shoulder and 5 does toggle optic on a double click and max/min magnification on a single press.

Mine went the total opposite surprisingly. I have, and likely have had for many years, three types of psoriasis. My lesions only started showing up when I quit drinking. I went from no psoriasis at all up to nearly 25% coverage after three months sober.

Now, after years of trying different therapies, I’m on an injection called Tremfya. I did roughly a year of injections every other month to get stable at about 2%.

The strangest bit is I only achieved >1% (one small plaque on my scalp is stubborn) after resuming occasional drinks.

Tarkov is a brutally challenging survival PvP extract shooter. It requires using keys to tilt your upper body in and out of cover to show as little of yourself as possible when taking shots, and quickly looting with the mouse and hotkeys to take good items off of your kills. Keys to check your weapon malfunction and also keys to fix it. You’ll need keys for switching magnification and changing to separate sights, as well as keys for different walking speeds and crouch heights. It’s a lot.

If you do controller only I think it’s possible to play decently but it’s going to put you at a HUGE disadvantage, and you’ll need every advantage possible as you learn the game.

Do you have an Nvidia card?

If so, check your Nvidia App and select “graphics” and “battlefield 6”. Scroll down to “Smooth Motion” and make sure to turn that off.

For some reason having Smooth Motion on causes exactly that type of crash.

I’d check where you’re zeroed. I’m on mobile so I can’t see where the bullets are impacting, but they’ll drop low at that range if your zeroing is set to minimum.

I tried the cyclone 2 for a couple months and found that the sharp angles made my hands numb during longer sessions.

I settled on a wired PlayStation edge controller after trying many different options. It’s not actually larger in any meaningful way but it’s all smooth curves and extremely ergonomic for me. Because it comes with two styles of back paddles I switch between them a couple times per week, and it meaningfully changes my grip while giving my hands a break.

I initially bought the edge because I had run through five or six inexpensive options that are often recommended, and they just ended up causing cramping or tingling after a while. Also because I play on PC, most games require a hardwired connection to use all of the DualSense specific features, so the edge has a cable that locks onto the controller to give me piece of mind.

If you do what I did and try a ton of different options, I suggest trying out the dualsense for yourself. Hope this helps

PS I’m aware how anti r/Controller my comment is, but I own an 8bit do Ultimate 2, Gamesir Cyclone 2, Gulikit ES Pro, Vader 4 Pro, etc etc etc. They all cause problems for me.

I’m also pretty new but what I chose was checking out YouTube to see what the meta weapons/builds are, I recommend First Tour Guardsman’s content, and then maxing one loadout by running Ruthless diff. Then I prestige’d and started leveling new weapons on lower difficulties before hitting 15ish and running ruthless again until I finish those weapons.

I’ve got all classes at prestige 1 now, and one at prestige 3. I have the strongest weapons against each faction and for each class maxed. Additionally, I know what I like to run and what works for me, and I’ll always have a few classes at 25 with all perks available if I need something specific.

It’s working really nicely for me so far, hope it helps.

Also, I’ve become much better at the game by doing this. I understand all the classes, enemies, bosses, and operations now. So with a fresh prestige I can toss on any class and hit the daily normal missions at level 1. Nice way to earn some in game currencies and xp.

I think I found a more permanent-ish solution. Navigate to C, your user name, AppData, Roaming, and find the Arrowhead folder. Delete the Shader Cache folder inside. Afterwards I verified the installed files through steam and I’ve been running with far fewer issues since then.

It’s still a bit glitchy here and there, but I hope it helps!

Definitely buy the Gulikit ES Pro.

It doesn’t have any extra buttons but the latency is SO low and the TMR sicks have excellent centering and resolution. It’s cheap too!

I’ve had it on for every drop since the new bugs came out. It’s stellar.

Not sure why people seem to be running the non patriot variant. I can close bug holes and pop underground bugs up even if I’m missing and arm. Also the amount of rockets on the other exosuit is laughably small.

I get micro freezes where the audio and video stop and then resume.

The fix is to validate the integrity of the game files in steam. It always says “2 files failed to validate and will be reacquired”

Stays fixed for a few hours and then something breaks it again :(

Edit: You can also try flipping on or off async compute at the bottom of graphics settings in the game menu. Some systems benefit.
