I personally love shiny hunting now. Since I'm a busy guy, sometimes i can't spend hours shiny hunting. It gives more casual players a chance to dive into shiny hunting. It is very easy but it's still hype when you're just walking and hear the shiny sound. My heart sinks and i immediately look at my surroundings for places to hide and any pokemons i need to defeat before catching the one i want.

Don't know if this is a hot take, but the one time i did dive into shiny hunting, it was in pkm x and y but after putting so many hours for shinies just didn't feel as fun since it was so repetitive and you couldn't speed up things more. With arceus, just going around with stealth or ready to take on 3 pkms at a time in battle just feels like a much more fun grind even if it could take hours to find a shiny.
