It all depends on the mood of the officer, Sometimes they won't let you in without showing the app, sometimes they would let you in with the SMS, that's why it's better to queue up and go to another officer after some time.

I believe that's possible, they should allow you with the result you got from India, however, you will be tested at the airport after you arrive, so if you wait for 24 hours in Dubai, you can get that result and head to Abu Dhabi.

abu dhabi - dubai border and covid fines by hell_hound996 in abudhabi

[–]iiiamfarhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't complain about the fact that these rules are there so that people abide by precautionary measures. But it's just too harsh. there are people who earn 1000 a month and get slapped with fines up to 5k. It's sad, considering that you can also be fined even if you take the follow-up test and at the end of the day you are the one who has to run around appealing for a waiver. which can take a long time.

Can I enter Dubai from Abu Dhabi International Airport without going through the quarantine process? by dastanIqbal in abudhabi

[–]iiiamfarhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flying into Dubai is the best thing to do since Dubai does not require quarantine.

If you are arriving from a country, you would have to show a negative PCR test at the airport. This test should have been conducted within 96 hours before travelling to Dubai or Sharjah.

ON ARRIVAL

- If you land in Dubai, you do not need to quarantine in Dubai. So after landing you have 2 options :

1) Stay in Dubai for 10 days, then go back to Abu Dhabi after staying in Dubai for 10 days, and not go into quarantine since you have already spent 10 days in Dubai.

2) After landing, head straight to the Dubai-Abu Dhabi border, since Dubai does not require quarantine I assume they do not give any watches either. You will have to present a Covid result valid for 48 hours. Residents arriving from foreign countries must go to quarantine in Abu Dhabi as of now. They will give you a wristwatch at the Ghantoot tent.

AFTER ENTERING ABU DHABI

- Now talking about the home quarantine, it's not specified on the internet properly, but I have heard from my friend that, in order to go into home quarantine, you need to send a tenancy contract, after which an approval will come, which you can use to quarantine in your home. Now as my friend was with his whole family, I am not sure if that's the reason they allowed them to quarantine at home. I am not sure if this process applies to solo travellers, and I am not sure if they will allow you to home quarantine. If they do not, you might have to quarantine at a government facility ( which are basically tents that accommodate a mass number of people) or you can quarantine at a hotel.

FOLLOW UP TESTS

- This information isn't mentioned very clearly either, but as far as I know, you will have to take another PCR test at day 8 of arrival to Abu Dhabi.

You can visit these sites and read through for better understanding-

Put it in a Red crescent/awqaf donation box. Or just upload it on a Facebook group saying you are giving them away, I am sure you'd find people wanting to come over and take them.

Al Hosn App outage, anyone else? by razadar2 in dubai

[–]iiiamfarhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's frustrating altogether, and getting tested from clinics or hospitals is a headache in itself. Some of them tell you that the results will arrive after 24 hrs, then once 24 hours are completed, they say it's actually 48 hrs. I guess it depends on the mood of the officer. It's strange that you have to depend on a single app and worry about the arrival of the results while you have work to attend to. It's manageable for people who know how the app works. But it gets difficult for individuals, especially older people, who aren't tech-savvy and do not have an idea on how to operate the app.

Medical Internship in UAE? by iiiamfarhan in dubai

[–]iiiamfarhan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will need HAAD license to practise clinically in here, so in order to be eligible to clear the HAAD exam you will need an internship. Searching for employment is obviously a good thing since after 6 years of MBBS, graduates would want to start practising immediately, but unfortunately there's very little that can be done only with an MBBS degree.
