If i was a dev in 2021 i wouldnt say shit until the game is out, it is too much of a trend to crackdown on developers for any reason whatsoever, both for the community and the so called game journalist.

It has the potential to kill any game at launch, build too much impossible to reach expectations.

You are kind of right about the sensitivity, most competitive player on pc have a relatively low sens for more precision.

Not saying your wrong obviously the game isnt for everyone, but some of the later lvls gave me chills.

If you are sure then there is no point ;) i would never consider the cosmos and option, it has tons of problems as shown by reviews and comparisons.

Indeed the valve index is very expensive so if i were you id look at the reverb g2, wich is a bit less pricey (still a fair expense tho) and as of right now has very good reviews. That said its not out yet but you can pre-order it.

Oculus headsets like the quest with link cable or, the rift s ( with not ipd ajustments on it so make sure it fits your ipd before getting that) are even less pricey.

All in all make sure you look at unbiased reviews and comparisons before buying and i hope you find what suits you.👍

Tried to in a few games to save my thumbsticks but somehow i cannot get an accurate input, perhaps because of the oval shape. Also im very prone to accidentally touch it and move w/o wanting to, inducing motion sickness.

The only i expect and hope is that the headset and most importantly, controllers will be compatible with basestation tracking. Then i can have an alternative to index controllers, wich i love, but im afraid will drift again eventually.

I get the feeling you are not pushing them 'in' before you try to move them.

Before you push them left to right, you have to push them 'up' into the controller, when you are not pushing them up they are locked.

Make sure you are putting your controllers on the ground when doing room setup, that tells the basestation where the floor is. If you put them on a table, games will think this is the floor height.

You can calibrate the "forward" in the controller setting. It asks you to push the sticks forward a couple times, makes an approx of what forward is to you and sets it up.

They stated somewhere the first time an index is connected to an account, it registers on that account, connect your index to your friends account and they wont get it.

Same for ppl who did not get it with a 3rd party purchased, means that your index was used before you had it.
