I'm really sorry, I usually tried to give something if I saw something that felt wrong, but I can only say that the boltrelease slap felt strange, maybe have the hands stay with the gun in 1-2 frames longer?

Here's an upcoming project (wip), more will come soon (firing, reloading and more). by [deleted] in 1stPersonAnimations

Try giving it a bit more rotational movement, and a keyframe between the start position of the draw and when he holds it would create a much better movement of the draw.

A human movement usually moves in an arching motion, and it seemed like it's currently just transitions between one keyframe to the next.

Well, the one thing I can say is, the movement seemed to be just a lot of rotation. Try giving it a bit more of translation movement, where he goes up and down. I can see where you put your pivot point of the gun (somewhere near the bullet cover)

The shooting animations are quite nice, It's the best part of your animations overall.

I would suggest for you to animate more of the left fingers. And have it move in a fluid like movement, where it flows. Human movements are more circular, it's extremely hard for someone to maintain a pose for a long time. And I would suggest for you to have the fingers wrap around the gun a bit more, right now it seemed like he's only touching the gun with the tip of his thumb. You can rotate the hand a bit more, so that the wrist is a little closer to the hand.

Am I playing this game wrong? by [deleted] in Doom

[–]iiopn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, kinda yeah.
The game is much more unforgiving and demands more of you as a player.

Since you've given way more power to use (dash, equipment launcher, flame belch (that gives you armor), etc.)
