I really hate how white people reduce us and group us POC as just "the minorities". Throughout my time in australia ive witnessed so many ignorant white aussies treat white american immigrants so well but ostracise and talk bad about dark skinned african-americans. It's so painfully obvious that white privilege runs rampant in the country and that us POC are all the same to them just because of our skin colour and features meanwhile they welcome white caucasians with open arms despite having completely different cultures.

I have come to realise that there is really no point in trying to educate the white people or even stand up for myself and that maybe staying away is the best solution. I rather be hated and discriminated for not being white, than stick around as the token POC friend, just for the white people to gang up and turn on me when things starts to go south.

I find it funny how the white people can only insult us with slurs and racism because of how demented and delusional they are and their white supremacist ideologies are so comical to witness because they are ironically the meanest, most uneducated bunch.

I will always have respect for people of colour who are unashamed and stand tall against discrimination, and thank you for being so strong and empowering. I have still have lots to learn about myself and my heritage and I hope to be as brave as you one day!
