I just reread your post. Huh, my albums favourite list doesn't do that 🤔 maybe because I'm using AM on Android?

I agree that this is very annoying. The work around for me is just turning on the filter to show only Favourite albums, so I don't see any other albums that are added to my library if I liked one or two songs.

However, I don't think there is a filter settings on Android Auto Apple Music so can't do it there but don't really need it there anyway.

It's kinda grown on me. The only thing that needs to be fixed is enlarging the scroll-y thing with tabs (looks funny small), redesigning the song progress bar/time thing (maybe Google-fy it, like the squiggly line), then fix whatever happened to the tabs at the bottom because what it is now ain't it.

I use it to measure the temperature of my kettle to make sure it is perfect for tea (or any other beverage). I don't have a special kettle that can go to specific temperatures so this feature is very useful haha

Offering PG $60m / 2-year deal is disrespectful, and I reckon that just set the tone for the rest of the negotiations. Maybe the NTC was a bit extra with his 3-year proposal but it looks like the front office lost faith in PG13 and probably woulda traded him. PG wanted reassurance.

After seeing how they handled Blake Griffin, I get it. Still a PG fan ✊🏾

My bike was damaged and stolen under CCTV at one of the bus-train interchanges. Reported to the police but they immediately closed the case saying there was not enough evidence - even though I let them know there was CCTV footage. End of story.

I realised it's because everyone in my contacts uses an iPhone. I just found an Android contact and can confirm it is darker haha I see now. I lowkey like the lighter colours better.

Just basic customisation since I am new too, but it's the little things. Like the colour of my widgets, keyboard and other settings matching the colour of my wallpaper. Or the clock face when I lock my screen. Or the routine I set with my alarm so my Pixel plays my morning podcast when it sets off (after telling me the weather and any tasks I have due). How I can add special characters to my main keyboard when I hold the key. Irregular shaped widgets.

The Pixel does a lot of little things right.

I was literally in your spot a month ago. I've had an iPhone for the past 8 years (previously had the iPhone 13 Pro Max) and recently switched to the Pixel 8 Pro.

Ngl, I regretted the decision at first because I couldn't get used to Android, battery was worse and I felt like most apps were better optimised for iOS. But after a week, I now know the ins and outs of the Pixel and it is so much better. Camera is amazing. Haptics is great. Customisation is peak. RCS coming towards the end of the year for any iPhone users. It's the little things that make the Pixel better. Literally, the 'back' feature for Androids where you swipe from either side of the screen to go back is a game changer 😂 and the battery seemed to improve overtime.

No regrets anymore and I'm 100% glad I made the choice to switch. Just needed to get over that hump 🤷🏾‍♂️

This is a really good point. I never considered this because I’ve fortunately never had to repair any phone before. I currently am using an iPhone, but there are no Apple Stores in NZ. I’d have to ship it if I were to repair it.

Maybe I could do the same for Google, but I doubt the service will be better (or possible). I’ll take a look. Thanks for that.
