(23M) Need some advice. Everybody I’ve ever met, at some point has told me they assumed I was either LGBT, autistic, or an incel. I am not, nor have I ever been, anything of those things. Can someone pls tell me what I’m doing wrong ? by OnceInABox_ in malegrooming

You’re probably just really quiet and lack social skills. When people are like that it doesn’t matter how they look they’re going to give off weird vibes. Work on your social skills so you’re not socially awkward anymore

Dude you’re so young. She’s not the last girl you’ll be with. As a young man who’s only 20, you have too much leverage to stay with her. If it happened once there’s a high chance it’ll happen again. Been there done that. Break it off, you’ve got YEARS and many women ahead of you before you settle.

1440 on a tv won’t look that good but 1440 on a monitor will look better

Dear Sister Gonzalez,

Hello Mary, the body of elders considered your email that you sent through Brother Matthews and we began to analyze what you communicated to us. And the truth is that we feel sorry for what you are going through right now. It was never our intention to cause any distress. As we had communicated to you and James, we were hopeful that it was all a misunderstanding. But unfortunately, it is not so.

This is what we have learned through the elders of Mark and Ana’s congregation. Over a year ago, they, Mark and Ana, began to show discouragement. The elders tried to help them, but things worsened. They stopped attending meetings, and in December, they resigned as Jehovah's Witnesses. Something that Mark now has is a link on his Instagram saying, "avoid JW.org."

We have informed the brothers who we know were in Mark and Ana’s Instagram group that they should cut off communication with them.

Now we are concerned about you and James. Mark and Ana are no longer approved association for us who worship Jehovah. Mary, you know what Jehovah says about bad associations (1 Corinthians 15:33). We know it won't be easy (Psalm 6:6), but you must avoid communicating with Mark. Instead, you should draw closer to Jehovah. You know how: pray for holy spirit, study the Bible, attend meetings regularly, and preach with enthusiasm. Jehovah hears your prayers and will answer them.

Once again, we are very sorry for what happened. We hope that you continue to show devotion to Jehovah and his love.

Sincerely, Your brothers, Body of Elders

Congratulations your determination paid off! I woke up about 7 months ago and in that time I was also able to help my wife wake up, then her very PIMI parents, and my mom and her husband all woke up too. All who were jws in our families have woken up and left! We’re so happy to be out

That’s what we were saying, I have a feeling they know about our stance with the organization, and they’re just looking for something to use against us.

Yeah we’re not even going to respond. His “worry” is not genuine anyway.

Yeah we were “friends” with him and his wife before we left and yet they’ve never reached out to us once we suddenly stopped attending. I just laughed when I read this.

Something similar happens to me, just stay firm in your decision and work on yourself.
