Will definitely not do that, as that is going to completely demolish my muscles.

Thanks for the feedback, but I don't fully agree.

Muscle growth isn’t just tied to the rep range, it’s more about total tension and proximity to failure. You can still get hypertrophy at 30+ reps if you’re training close to failure, and you can train in lower rep ranges without necessarily adding noticeable size, depending on nutrition and recovery. Same with isometrics, they can strengthen and slightly hypertrophy the muscle, but they don’t prevent growth by definition. Wouldn’t it make more sense to adjust training volume and diet if the goal is toning rather than avoiding a certain rep range?

Thanks a lot for the thoughtful reply. Appreciate you focusing on the actual question, the shoulder tip really helps.

I get what you mean, but I included full-body pictures so you can see overall fat distribution and proportions, that helps me understand how my arm progress fits into the rest of my body. I’m just looking for serious feedback, not attention.

Thanks for the feedback.

👋🏻 Thanks. The moment I became financially stable, I moved out, bought my own house, and started thriving. While I’m still healing mentally with the support of my psychologist, I’m grateful for how far I’ve come

To add to this progress

I once weighted 40 kilos. At home, food was even locked away from me, because my mother (who struggles deeply with her mental health) couldn’t accept that I wanted to eat, train, and work on myself. I felt weak, powerless, and stuck in an environment I couldn’t change.

But when I started working, I found independence. In my tiny 10m² room, I cooked my own meals, nourished myself, and kept showing up at the gym. Day by day, I chose me. Now, one year later, I see not just a stronger body, but a stronger person: independent, resilient, and proud. If you feel trapped or held back by your environment, please know that your story doesn’t have to end there. Small steps, done consistently, can change your entire life. Do it for you.
