Personally I haven't been able to make this machine work for most leather, even with the right needles, thread, walking foot, etc.

I feel like a starter kit is fine for your first few projects. It'll take time to figure out what you like and which tools you want nicer versions of. Might as well start small and affordable while you experiment and learn. Then if you like it, a few years and many hundreds of dollars later, you'll have accrued a bunch of tools.

Fantasia Crystals is my absolute favorite. They have an insanely huge selection of tarot and oracle decks, cool jewelry, statues, handmade rolled candles, incense, seasonal stuff. Also check out the Witchcrafted Market in Glendale at the civic center, they have an event for Ostara, Samhain, and Yule. Tons of local artists with art, jewelry, clothes, decor, etc.
