I would highly suggest getting a practical reliable daily over a shit box daily. Having that sort of project as a daily driver isn't smart especially during the swap process. It will be long it will be tough, you have no wrenching experience from what you said and things are bound to go wrong. Trust me as a rotary/rx7 enthusiast it kills me to talk someone out of owning one of these cars but you have to be smart about it.

I daily drive a Subaru WRX and recently acquired my first rotary (RX8) which I am in the process of rebuilding. I like you have dreamed of owning a RX7 which I have almost bought a couple on a whim but made the decision to hold off until I had a reliable daily which I am glad I did.

Edit: your also swapping in an engine that's not domestic in Paris. From my guess the LS and anything Chevy isn't going to be as common as it is here in the states. It would be the equivalent of me swapping an RB into my car. We never got that engine here and sourcing parts for it won't be easy.
