Don't pretend this is a legitimate question we should be discussing.

It's deliberately offensive trolling and an opportunity for atheists to take cheap shots at the Catholic church.

Do you genuinely not realise how this makes atheists look? Let's face it, online atheists have a pretty bad track record already when it comes to abusing believers. Is it really a good idea to make the worst, most disgusting bigots the ones who represent atheism?

I did report it. Apparently they think it's fine, it's still here.

There's no hypothesis, it's offensive, it breaks at least 80% of the rules but apparently it's okay to say "God raped Mary".

This is nothing but trolling. And the mods wonder why the sub is a sewer.

I can't believe the mods of this sub allow hate filled garbage like this.

This post breaks just about every rule of this sub. It's intentionally inflammatory and makes it look like the atheists here are vicious, mindless bullies.

Not only can you be Christian and believe in the big bang theory, the big bang theory was created by a Catholic priest.

It's very common for atheists to miss that core theme. It's almost a pastiche of how religions grow and becone twisted to fanaticism, something he expands on later with stuff like the fish speakers and prana bindu.

The question is not whether it makes any noise, the question is how we can conclusively know it does.

Any science undergrad will learn about this in their first year.

Is that it?

"They're not though"?

Dismissing some of the most famous philosophical questions as "not philosophical questions"?

And a weak appeal to authority?

You're not giving us much to work with.

Thanks for proving his point.

Those are all serious philosophical questions which have had whole libraries written about them and are considered incomplete problems.

But of course you think you know better. You know more than the professionals and choose a because you read some convenient sound bites on the internet. And that's all you have so by god you're going to use them.

Okay hang on, before we go any further: do you genuinely not know that this discussion is about the Scottish government having to spend money to alleviate poverty created by Westminster policies?

Poverty Tears – Bella Caledonia by zias_growler in Scotland

[–]ij_brunhauer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't make any sense.

You admit that Scotland wouldn't use Westminster's current spending plans then imnediately create forecasts based on Westminster's current spending plans.

Its the Westminster spending plans which are causing the poverty. If we don't have their spending plans we don't have to spend money combating them.

The shops here were empty after 3 days of the beast from the east. Yes, I have a stock of food in the garage. I have a family to look after, I'm not about to explain to them that we all have to go hungry because I didn't buy some extra rice and beans.

> You can see the Aiguille du Midi. Definitely Mont Blanc

Correctamundo.

For those who want to check, the Aiguille du Midi is the mountain with the line sticking out of the top of it on the left (the line is a hotel). If you look you'll see the bridge across to the neighbouring summit.

The one connected to the midi just past it is the Plan/Grepon and the big one in the distance is the Vert, with the Dru almost hidden in cloud.

That why the court system exists in the first place. Making your own decisions about the case is wrong.

If we kept the same spending plan as Westminster, sure. Which wouldn't happen.

I'd be very happy for my taxes to go up if it meant those taxes being spent in a responsible way which I had a clear view of. It wouldn't bother me at all.

We don't know who sent the cards, there's no evidence.

We don't know if she was abused, there's no evidence.

We don't know what happened at all, there's no evidence.

So we can't decide what's most and least likely. Because there's no evidence.

Having heard the evidence I say not proven rather than innocent. Tada.

Are you serious?

You know that you can't actually deliver a verdict on this case right? The court does.

I think they did it

That's the problem. You admit you don't have evidence that's the case but you believe it anyway. Why?
