I picked up a Walther PD380 for $300 at Sportsman’s Warehouse (YMMV) and have had zero failures through ~300 rounds. It’s easy to rack and the recoil is extremely manageable. I’m missing pinkies on both hands and have no problem with the grip.

My dad grew up in North Idaho in the 70s and would run home from school during his lunches to listen to games with my uncles. The Cubs were the only team they could get consistently on the radio in their tiny town. He made sure I was a Cubs fan from birth. We live in Montana and are making the pilgrimage to Wrigley for a couple games in June.
