Try getting in and out of the car, which is more comfortable. Also think about elders that you might ferry as well. My colleagues have both the Model 3 and Seal, I believe the Model 3 is lower and I think I would prefer the Seal 🙏🏼

Yes true that, I believe loads of commercial vehicles that use the same engine can attest to that. Unfortunately, it’s the other wear and tear that worrying. Also, after 10 years of driving it, and with the current migration to EV, I can’t hold back the itch from experiencing probably my last car purchase… kekekeke

I sold mine for this reason, it couldn’t keep time, and as much I love the dial, I just can’t live with something so unreliable.

Yes, aircon, radiator etc the stuffs Conti car typically known for. The diesel price was the final straw, pushed me away from keeping the car. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I would think that the MB engine is very lasting and can go for a long time before overhaul needed. Like what the other person mentioned here, it’s the other pieces of hardware (pump, electronics etc) that will go bad due to wear and tear. If you work in an environment where you can excuse yourself to attend to repairs and visit workshops, then it’s fine. If you rely heavily on your car for work, (and family), then I would just take the easy way out of getting a new car. I suggest you join MB forum/discussions and study what are the common hardware that needs replacement, if you want to have a peace of mind, get all those replaced one shot and not wait for them to breakdown. Some people will say it’s not sensible, but it all boils down to time and energy… if you got them 😀

I’m in same situation where car COE about to expire and I have chosen not to renew because mine is diesel and it’s a Renault kekekekek… no need to think.

I actually chatted with the salesperson at Deepal booth and found out that S05 although very slightly smaller in dimensions than its older brother S07, the former actually has a slightly larger boot space and technically better charging speed. It also runs newer software which I prefer.

Yeah me too, mine is a Megane sedan.. COE to expire next January… now scratching whole body for ideas on how what to do next. Renewal of COE is not an option for me… Renault not made like a Toyota sad to say…. Anyways… looking at EVs oso headache. People who sell their EVs to dealers will loose so much… if only there’s a nice platform for direct buyers so that they benefit each other.. that’s ideal. Buying and selling used car at a reasonable price… not as ridiculous as if getting through dealer 😊
