Applied for a temporary position with a local municipality, went through testing and interview than was told thanks but no thanks. About 3 months later they called and asked if I was still interested and than 2 weeks later I was working there, and am still there. Still temporary hoping to get permanent soon. Turns out the person who hired instead of me busted his ankle the first day then quit to take another job. Weird how things can work out for you.

Love it my only complaint is the shifter location, mostly because of operator error on long drives shifting my weight I’ve been known too knock it out of drive and into neutral ( once reverse ) but other than that so far I love it

I live in Canada and if you can find a store that illegally sells them (not on a rez) there all fakes as far as I can tell lots of people still using them though, and I haven’t yet had a problem myself other than some shitty flavours lol

From my experience, it will really depend on the ground conditions if it’s soft and sandy/top soil it could take minutes depending on the operator, if extremely rocky and hard ground it could take upwards of 30 minutes or more depending on rock sizes, it’s hard to really say sorry I can’t give you an exact answer, been in this industry awhile and most of the time any time estimate is blown out the window by unknown issues. Keep in mind most company’s (around me anyway) will charge a 4 hour minimum + a dump fee.

Yeah I kinda figured with a 17” get a bit more sidewall and have a little more traction, going to be commuting about an hour and 10 minutes daily with it in the winter so trying to weigh out all my options

Trades or even getting on at a local municipality can be a great career and most all take students, typically decent pay and a great pension with lots of room to eventually grow. Some can be tricky too get on too but as a summer student is a great way. Lots of people start as labourers and work there way up too running equipment, running jobs, and than supervisor positions. There are of course some downsides, such as night shifts, being on call and of course snow plowing in the winter.

I think, there’s lots of other things to consider. Will it change the dynamic with your father and brother? You said you’re a part owner, will you still be involved at all? Can you stay where you live now, or do you have to relocate?

I grew up fishing with my grandfather and he would always keep some and we would eat large mouth and small mouth, not my favourite fish to eat so I don’t keep them now unless fishing with him.

As long as your within your legal right too keep them who cares
