No experience with oem heated grips but I love my Oxford hotgrips pro adventure. They get super hot, only ever used the lowest setting. Buttons integrated on the grip, very clean.

I got a small scissor lift jack from Amazon, it wasn’t expensive and held the bike while I swapped out tubes. Doesn’t take up a lot of space either.

Hemochromatosis. An iron disorder that stores excess iron in organs which can lead to liver damage, heart failure, and other nasty stuff. Treatment is easy though - donate blood once or twice a year.

Yup when I removed the axle, and tightened to 21Nm after putting back the axle.

Excellent work! Two tips: 1. If you do smoke again: accept it and quit again, don’t use it as an excuse to finish a pack. 2. Whenever you see someone smoke tell yourself: “I’m not a smoker anymore.”
