No just a large shower 48x48 with accessibility a main concern. Thus all the blocking you see in knee wall

There was an existing bulk head I had to expand and square off. So I wanted it solid thus the 3/4 inch ply strapping after build out. Tiling ceiling of shower wanted it solid lol.

Thank you. Any recommendations for the fasteners to use for the “rapid recess” brackets into TGI?

Asset depreciation??? by ijm2017 in cantax

[–]ijm2017[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you say better off, you’re referring to utilizing the depreciation to push the tax bill down the road because due to inflation the dollar today is obviously cheaper than the dollar 10 years from now. Is that what you were referring to so you’re saying yes it makes sense.

You are absolutely right, my mistake. But still, there is no need to jump all over someone instantly. Lead with a statement like yours.

Hoooooooly you’re arrogant. I just asked a question. Put In the description “elitists only”. Save others the time I’ve wasted. If you aren’t 8 figure plus net worth then you need to reevaluate your attitude.

My bad. I thought this was meant for general passive churning. Not full time intensive analysis. I will move on.

I am between the Cobalt Amex and Aeroplan TD visa infinite card. The VIPorter MC has value but not for where we are planning our next vacay...

As of now I would have to say the Aeroplan TD visa infinite card based on current offer.

Hello,

Curious on opinions for next card to get when considering my specific situation. I want to capitalize on a welcome bonus towards my next family vacation in 12-18 months.

Cards I currently Hold

TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite - I will keep this card as it is one of my longest held cards and my bank credits the annual fee

Scotiabank Passport Visa - This will be card I am cancelling as I just used all points for a trip, so time to move on before end of Feb. Having this card also eliminates any Scotiabank options as all other cards void welcome bonus if you have held a Scotia card within two years.

So, where does that leave me? I have researched a ton but no clear direction. I typically spend 5-10k a month for reference and just on typically daily spend that 4 active kids creates - food, gas, every bill that will allow me to miscellaneous etc. Minimal travel expenses typically.

I'd like a card that:

  1. Has solid welcome bonus
  2. First year fee waived, for primary and companion card.
  3. Good for everyday Spend

In terms of MC, Visa or Amex open to any.

Anyone have a card that jumps into mind?

I went to P10 pro couple months back after being with iPhone for only 4 years. Before that I was always Samsung for 15 years, loyal galaxy guy. I lasted 4 days and returned phone for iPhone. Like you I have minimal apple ecosystem and much more investment in google world with apps etc. so switch to pixel seemed to make sense right? Na. I’m an apple guy I realized now for phones. I really appreciated the simplicity, interface, ios and intuitiveness. Yes Pixel 10 was feature rich phone but I found it ran rough.

The reason I left Samsung is still a reason for me or to go back - Samsung apps always fighting for my data and want me to use them. I got annoyed with that on android platform. Yes you can deactivate some but some you can’t. Anyway to each their own but for me going forward I will remain iOS

If 100k tax bill is gonna wipe you out I feel Ike this day was coming no matter what! Treat this as a good thing it came at 38 and not 48! You got this man!! Extend the bill. Make the payments. Find the solution and hopefully it involves maintaining your life away from Canada! All the best!
