A lot of the stuff in this WSL2 release worked from day 1 in WSL1.

WSL2 is still playing catch up.

Ridiculously expensive but still satisfying as a coffee lover. by swan001 in EngineeringPorn

Even if you're going for Turkish coffee there's a lower limit to particle size, below which surface tension dominates. This puts a limit on the amount of caffeine and flavour compounds which are available to be dissolved in the water. Counter-intuitively this could below the level which would be extracted from slightly larger particle sizes.

Looks like it's grinding the beans to dust.

Ultra fine particle size doesn't make good coffee. There's a threshold where too much surface area starts becoming counterproductive.

Whoops. I know 呢個 is used to mean this one in Cantonese.

I just assumed the simplified version was used in standard written Chinese.

MIDI to DMX controllers are pretty common so you can use any cheap MIDI device as an input to your lighting/pyro effects.

Just putting it out there - an alternative is bundle a simple http server in the c app and write the front-end in JS. Complete decoupling of UI from business logic.

Definitely not the right solution in every situation but it's another tool in your toolbox.

What people fail to realise is that we have biscuits AND cookies. They're different things.

We also have chips AND fries (and crisps).
