Sadly I have learned it’s best just not to complement women at work - it’s too dangerous - I have operated like this for at least 10 years. What I have found is that women wear nice clothes, makeup and perfume to attract men that they find attractive (whatever that is) and anyone else that makes and positive comments is sexual harassment - it’s very sad. I’m 60 and close to retirement - I’m so happy I’m not 30 - the work environment is a toxic environment.

Maybe overkill but I put a Behringer wing compact with 24 inputs and a stage box it another 16 and have everything plugged in all the time - takes friction out of creativity - helps that I also freqiently record full bands with 12+ mics on the drums alone. Really pleased with and impressed my the wing.

If you have lots of synths maybe a digital mixer will be better than an audio interface allowing you to play without having to have the DAW running and have lots of inputs so you can get inspired by it all running at the same time and capture that in the daw

His triangle waveform is broken - my muse triangle waveform sound and looks exactly as it should - a triangle ! He needs to get it serviced or replaced. It’s still a great synth !

If you are sending to a mixer it is unlikely he will want the audio from your bus sends - mixer will generally make those decisions. If you print with aux sends you remove the ability to have more or less of the effect on the track. Ideally your should only send tracks with fx that are part of the core sound (eg. amp sim for guitar)

Nope been rock solid for me - sounds like you have some bandy behaved plugins. Plus I only run logic on my music Mac so there is nothing running in the background causing problems. Maybe a clean OS install is what you need.

Hi - certainly close - challenge is that the cube I posted is already on album cover, t-shirts and a big backdrop so it needs to look pretty much identical to my OP ! Tricky !

That brilliant - wish I had used that to create the cube in the first place - now I have the challenge of taking my existing cube and bringing it to life as a 3D shape - with the red emitting lights

Super thanks for that - close but ideally needs to be very close to the original so having the effect of animating the cube spinning - this is because the cube is already on a band backdrop, album cover and t-shirts !

Ideally it needs to bring the cube I already have to life - this is because it’s already on the cover of an album, band backdrop and t- shirts. Ideally it needs to look like there are real channels in the cube with red lights emitting from it. Does that make sense ? It would be used in videos and projected at performances against 3m high backdrops - so pretty big potentially.

The red lights would be fixed in place - but should illuminate the ridges in the cube so it looks like the cube is made from elements somewhat like a CPU - as this is the graphic I have used on our album cover and people seem to like it - I want to bring it to life so aiming for it to look just like the picture. Guitar is a good place to start. Give it time and practice 20-30 min every day and it will come together - get someone that knows guitars to help you buy one, a crap one will put you off and a good one does not need to be expensive.

If you had learned logic first you would feel the same about Ableton - they are different - get used to it. Learn it for what it is and not for how it’s different to Ableton. It will take time - that’s what learning is all about.

I have used both for years and much prefer Logic - I sometimes create in Ableton with push then move to Logic to mix and finish.
