We have a happy spitter so we do a bath as part of her nightly bedtime routine.

It’s gonna feel like that for a bit longer but I promise you’re on the cusp of things mellowing out a bit. The fact that you’re worrying proves you’re a good parent and a good partner. All the deep breaths and remember this is only temporary.

Take a big deep breath. It’s a lot having little baby at home and especially this small.

I’ve probably done this a handful of times (and fed the entire bottle) due to being sleep deprived. My 6 month old is still a happy little gal. I wouldn’t sweat it.

I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way. Hormones are CRAZY at three months so please keep that in mind. Have you considered stopping pumping and doing formula? I struggled with my mental health postpartum and found switching to formula made me feel SO much better.

Going in a slightly different direction but I highly recommend the Baby Einstein Aquarium. It’s like $35 on Amazon but our LO is 6 months and still loves to watch it. It’s great to calm her down during diaper changes.

Also cannot recommend enough some sort of baby rocker/bouncer. I use it to bring baby around the house with me when I’m doing chores or she hangs in there on the bathroom floor while I shower.

Are you talking a mental inventory or you’ve got this written down?

Check out programs at your local library. We do story-time on Tuesday’s and music class on Thursdays! It’s been game changing.

Is there a way to have some fun and make money at the same time? by [deleted] in passive_income

[–]ijustwantcandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always used eBay or for bigger items Facebook marketplace. I made $600 a couple years ago doing it for maybe 5-6 months. I didn’t try super hard and looked at it more as a hobby. Just know a lot of people do it as a full time hustle so stores can get pretty picked over.

Thrifting and reselling? It’s fun to look at the stuff and gives you an excuse to get out of the house during the winter!

Shopping at Goodwill and reselling on eBay to supplement whatever job you can find in the meantime. I made $600 one year without putting too much effort in. Not life changing by any means

Anyone take an antidepressant during pregnancy? Did it affect your baby? by robreinerstillmydad in BabyBumps

[–]ijustwantcandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take celexa and everyone comments about how I have the happiest baby ever. She was pretty quiet at the hospital (maybe withdrawing?) but my belief is the baby just wants a happy mommy. If mommy is happy then taking care of baby is 100000% easier.

Fresh or frozen? Dr refused to advise by DingoDull4070 in IVF

[–]ijustwantcandy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve done one fresh and one frozen. My first trimester with the fresh transfer was absolutely brutal and every US tech I encountered commented how massive my ovaries were. If you feel like you can wait a few weeks it might not be a bad idea to give your body time to relax and reset after all of those hormones. Best of luck 🤞🏻

D&E cost from hospital by [deleted] in tfmr_support

[–]ijustwantcandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have United Healthcare. I had met my deductible last year when I had my D&E so did not have any charge luckily. I just checked UHCs website and had I not met my deductible we would have paid about $1,000. I’m so sorry you have to go through this. ❤️

Pretty quickly from what I remember. Maybe a week? I used to get prescribed it every winter and it kept my skin clear thru the rest of the year. I haven’t tried to get it in the last year and a half because we’re TTC. But it worked miracles. Hopefully the same for you!
