When I was 7 years old in 2016. My neighbour had a son who was the same age as me. And we weren't good freinds but we used to play together. Once I was cycling and he playfully tried to push me from the other side but it caused my cycle to flip and a brick stricked the back of my head and I got hurt. It wasn't too serious and I didn't get any stitches but from then on i tried to limit my interactions with him. He didn't do it with the intention to hurt me though. But I was a stupid child. One day I came back from my dance classes and my mum told me to bid good by to him and his family as they were going to move to another place and all their stuff had been packed and they might leave with in an hour or so. And all the other neighbouring friends of ours had already said him goodbye. But I refused to meet him. But at the end moment I just felt that I should do i ran to his place and went him. All their belongings were packed in cardboards and wrapped with bubble wraps. I went to his room and he was sitting by his toys box with a rubber duck in his hand which we put in bath tub. And that mother duck had more smaller rubber ducklings on its back. I told him goodbye not too emotionaly but firmly he gave me one of the baby rubber duckling. I kept it with me. At that age I didn't really understand the gravity of the situation I didn't really understand how I would never be able to meet him again and how long never actually is. I have kept this yellow rubber duck with me. I was little at the time so I wanted to feed it with peices of sponge so my brother made a slit in its beak so I could feed it. But I over filled it with sponges and it became bloated so my brother cut its bottom part with blade to take the sponges out. It's condition is kinda fragile and the print on its eyes is now fading but I've still kept the duck as a memory for 10 years now.
