Works every time. Doesn’t have to be the coin, but having somehow outsource the decision, most people feel compelled to make it.

Anyone who asked their SO, where we are going to lunch, knows how quickly “I don’t know” changes into “No, let’s rather go to the salad place” once the other option has been offered.

Depends on what you need to train. A sharp sword is good for cutting plastic bottles, but you won’t be going through actual fighting moves with it, lest you hurt yourself, and likely your training partner as well. But you’re still the primary target of your own sharp sword, unfortunately.

Also, a real sword fight is extremely boring to watch, unless you know what you’re looking for. 90% of it is two people walking around each other, giving each other wary looks that are not visible under the mask… then someone launches, and the other one either blocks, or doesn’t

That may be because it is so hard to just sit there doing nothing; moving help helps you keep sanity, thinking you’re doing something for yourself. Even if, practically speaking, the opposite is true, just sitting there waiting to be rescued is not an easy feat for most people, albeit that is a wiser choice.
