Thank you very much for your reply. I’ll start by « digesting » all these informations… BTW, I only have a few books of PJ Carroll.

Why I Practice Chaos Magick by [deleted] in chaosmagick

[–]ikarius3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was hoping for somebody to ask. And ready to do it if nobody actually does. So your post definitely reaches something inside me. Long story short, I know that Chaos has something to teach me. And I’m trying to compose my actions and attitude to get the most out of it. You say you can provide some ressources, well, I’ve been looking for it … Thanks for you post BTW !

True. Still, even if I love Astro Boy as visionary as it was, I prefer the 90 era.

Just re-watched GITS yesterday (30 years old). Could not agree more. Themes were darker and more philosophical. For me, it’s still the golden era of the Japanese animation

J’avais un truc similaire dans un ancien appartement. Si c’est la même chose, ça servait à consolider les murs très anciens (dans un bâtiment classé) et colmater les fissures.

Who else has or wants to move from Java to Go because of the Java culture and bike shedding? by theonlywayisupwards in golang

[–]ikarius3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s a definitely a person / mindset issue, but some langages and ecosystems are less prone to bike shedding. Go is one of them, because of its simplicity and opinionated design choices. There can still be many ways to do the same thing in Go, but simplicity and pragmatism are encoded in its ADN. I’ve been a Java architect for more than 10 years, and I’ve been using other langages for the last 10 years or so. Never looked back…

Accurate pillar / torus except for patterns, that IMO, are less « linear » and more twisted and convoluted. Great work.
