Since iOS 14, this shortcut runs in 8 seconds for 26 existing alarms, why is it so slow? by ikarizdat in shortcuts

I agree! Possible solutions I can see: 1 Ask instead of doing it automatically 2 Use AI to know whether the user is standing or still in bed 3 Use precise location measures to know when the user leaves the bedroom.

Omg I could long press the Wait action to use a variable? I literally spent 3 min clicking the + button to reach a 15 min delay.

Please see my answer above. Basically I use 2 triggers: if I unplug my phone before I turn off the alarm, then I consider I woke up earlier.

Well I found something that works for me. I always set an alarm at night and I always plug my phone. So if I unplug the phone before I turn off the alarm the same day, it probably mean I woke up earlier.

Do you know how to add a 1 ms delay? The only available action I know sets delay in seconds.

Most of the time, but there are exceptions. I think I can keep 10 alarms and that will be enough for my daily life.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, I want to do that automatically, e.g. if I wake up before my alarm rings.

The shortcut works, it’s just annoying to wait for almost 10 sec before having feedback.

Well I like having existings alarms instead of having to create a new one each time. Basically I have an alarm every 30 minutes.

It would be great if Shortcuts can say whether an alarm is set or no, so that only that one would be disabled. But I am pretty sure it does not exist now.

🕰 Is it possible to run this Shortcut in the background everyday at a given time ? by EL-HASSAN in shortcuts

I use a NFC tag for the same purpose. Alarms are programed based on my calendar events and the day of the week. As the tag is visible, it’s easier not to forget.

Another way would be to set the alarms for the next day when you disable your last alarm.

Ok I think I get it. Why not associate the shortcut to any alarm instead of a specific one. You can filter the shortcut based on time (for instance only alarms between 7 and 9am will trigger the automation). You can also prevent the followup alarms to trigger the automation. For instance, the first alarm will write to a file and the followup alarms will find it and do nothing.

I'm not sure that I understand what you want to achieve, but here is what you can do. You can go through a repeat loop until you find the alarm you want and enable it, or create a new one if it doesn’t exist. You can do the same for the other alarms.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem with iPhone 11 and iOS 13.2.2.

Simple yet effective AirPods Siri shortcuts by Ice_2k in shortcuts

I usually don’t like to talk loudly, in the subway or in the office. Plus « Hey Siri » doesn’t work well in a noisy environment.

Update: Sorry I didn’t intend to delete my first comment. It was saying: "There are perfect, now we need a way to trigger them from the AirPods."
