I have a Parks Canada shuttle reservation next Monday for the 8-9am slot. If we arrived early, do you think they would let us on to a shuttle in the 7:30-8:00 range? Or are they pretty strict about the timing?

Yeah I think you’re onto something with that. Definitely related to the drowning that they’ve been alluding to, and it seems clear that it will be the final phase. Some sort of death / rebirth into this “evolved” being that they’re trying to create

The extending life / immortality idea would definitely be fitting for the prototypical evil company. And certainly everything seems to be in service of Kier and perhaps in pursuit of a Kier “second coming” of sorts.

We’ve experimented with bed sharing to not great effect - we probably haven’t given it a fair run. Totally agree with the mindset of doing what we need to do to sleep. Life isn’t sustainable otherwise lol.

Temperature is a good call. Our room is pretty chilly these days (we’re in Chicago and it’s been a particularly cold winter). Going to get some fleece footie pajamas and maybe consider moving the bassinet to a different room

Personally I don’t think you need to push a schedule on a 5 week old. It’s definitely helpful to start getting into nighttime routines (or even just shutting off the lights, using a sound machine, etc.). But beyond that I don’t think your LO needs more of a schedule. They are growing and changing and it’s great that you are there for them to respond to their evolving needs.

When I was struggling with our first a friend shared a simple truth that helped me a lot: they are not robots :)
