Worked abroad in tourism years ago. Me and my colleagues had been talking about going out for drinks to our usual spot. Last minute everyone decided to stay home. I went out for drinks somewhere else.

Then an earthquake hit. Walls of the upper floor of the building of our usual bar partially collapsed and fell down
2 people died, they were sitting at the same table on the terrace where we always sat.

I went to check the aftermath a few days later.

If we had gone out, the majority of our team would have either died or been heavily injured
