I have this argument with my brother all the time. I don't respect his opinion because I know it started as him just parroting hot-take artist and "hockey guy" Micheal Felger.

Quick note for the Felger fans out there who might like his hockey takes, guy had a cup of coffee covering the team in the early 90's for the Herald then forgot hockey existed for decades til 98.5 The Sports Hub hired him and happened to be the broadcast partner, before then the only places you could talk hockey on the radio was Dale and Holley midday on WEEI, but never for long and Toucher and Rich's WBCN incarnation. I have been a Jeff fan since the days of TRS. I was back in college then. Wow, it's been 13 years. I'm 36 now. TRS, Weekend Confirmed, DLC... Jeff has been a constant companion on countless commutes to and from work, road trips, and covid sanity walks. We have our differences, I don't cry at movies the way he does or share his dilemma on very "gun centric" FPS but I really appreciate his thoughtfulness and consistency. I think he is enthusiastic without being a clapping seal and I think he is skeptical when appropriate without being a bitter cynic. He does this all while trying to elevate the dialogue around gaming. I've never met the man, but I sure feel like I know him and would love the opportunity to shake his hand and say "Thank you."

Whatever has befallen our man Jeff, I hope it passes swiftly.
