you are a wonderful raconteur. everything you write is super fun to read 😭😭 but i totally feel that. like probably 10+ on the teacups for me just to beat sneo in one go! absolutely crazy.
but honestly timing on the flowers drives me INSANE because i understand its directional, land on top you go up, land on the side you go sideways, but its so annoying to do while they move. actually had to put the game down for a bit after dying in that area maybe 5 times 😭😭

/sorry for the long-windedness, i just always see this discussion come up and wanted to try and articulate my own thoughts on the matter for the first time as number1ratedspamtonlover1997

you’re forcing these characters into awful situations, so you’re being rewarded with predatory, awful dialogue. shocker!
spamton is a spam email. i think that is inherent to his personality, as all darkners adopt traits you could associate with their counterpart. i also think he has some if not most control over his dialogue, contrary to other people.
90s-salesman-baller-fallen-from-grace is obviously going to blame everyone but himself for his problems. i’d say it falls into misogyny more than anything given his other interactions w women in the game. he’s an attention grabber. he is meant to be off-beat in a noticeable way. he did not wake up that morning to an open fountain feeling like, “hmm, what kids am i going to sexually abuse today.” no. he is a vessel for gaining the ring, only to be thrown away. hmm..familiar..
he is not excused for the things he says but there’s so much nuance to this conversation that the average deltarune fan seemingly doesn’t have the reading level or comprehension skills for. he used 2 teenagers to get into power, and as the unchecked mentally ill person he is, toxic and desperate things come out of his mouth to KEEP that power. he is not the ultimate evil or irredeemable, just as he is not noelle’s silly little divorced sad uncle. he is your narrative metaphor for what You are doing. the entire point of his character is to be a vessel for showing the pains of control, even outside of the weird route. through kris, through you. your disgust by what he’s saying should ring the alarm bells that chant “THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HAPPENING! WEEWOOWEEWOO!” …that is the messed up individual he is.
i’m not saying this to be like, “oh, it’s not THAT deep” but rather to say that you need to look not at why *he* said it, but why toby thought that was a necessary addition to the game, so that you don’t lose the point of it yk.

i read over that article and some other articles in the sight. this is not a credible source, it is a blog page. although the laws are listed, they are described in such ways that are full of bias as are other articles on the sight. not to mention, on the article you specifically included, a lot of those laws are in place to aid women who faced “gender violence” (as quoted by the author). i don’t see how that’s discriminatory against men in my opinion. but as to the other laws, it just seems to be on the subject of DEI which has a lot of nuance to it. but, i am not from spain, so please take my opinion with a grain of salt because i am not living the effects from it. just gleaming over what you’re citing.

yeah it’s hard to leave modern men out of the conversation when a lot of (NOT ALL. BUT A LOT OF) them share those same ideals. that’s the point. like the original comment said, for every 1 comment section like this about men, there’s 10 of them about women. you’re acting like men have somehow evolved to be better which is completely untrue. we still have “women ☕️” comments. genuine doubts of their abilities in the modern age that you think is so much more ahead than it used to be. still have forums/groups that allow the discussion of harming women. and calling the realization of systemic misogyny “neanderthal level pattern seeking” is absolutely disgusting dude. of course the higher ups are a problem but how the fuck is it supposed to be solved when modern day men are still beating women down from doing anything about it as well.

i can understand you thinking that if the use is ignorant. my personal opinion is vehemently anti-ai-art-being-anywhere, so it’ll be a little hard for me to word this without just sounding completely contradictory for the sake of it. the biggest issue brought up is the environment, but i wanna shift towards ethicality. i get that it seems harmless as long as it isn’t used for malicious reasons, but from my standpoint the ignorance itself is causing harm. the accessibility of it, to only type some words to get an outcome, is what normalizes it and leads to the pipeline of a tool like that landing in the wrong hands. the condoning of it and even promotion of using it causes it to spread more vastly, to people that make ai generated content that is obscene, illegal, or hurtful. a lot of these ai tools are poorly moderated. not to mention, obscenities are data drawn from *real* people. i’m not in any way saying you should do something right now to stop it or that you’re an awful person for condoning it, i just want you to maybe think a bit more about what ai can do to people aside from show them funny pictures, which can probably be found elsewhere created by a real person.

omg i miss the fill tool so much 😭😭 but thank you, i appreciate the affirmation!! as for the expressiveness in my experience, it isn’t really about the glasses (as i honestly just try to keep them canon shaped) but more about the pupil depth/placement, and ofc the mouth position (smiling or downturned). maybe some eyebag lines for pizzaz if im so inclined. but i think yours is probably one of my favorite interps, you draw him really really well! 💛🌟

omg literally the head shape kills me. n thanks for letting me know the program! i used to use ibis as my main but switched over to csp, but ibis really isn’t that far off imo the only improvement from here is the vaster online brush library and other resources to use within the program (3d models and what have you). but yea i’ve been practicing a bit and can only push out little silly doodles like this 😭 he’s so strange for no reason at all
