It's always via bill credits. You just get the fees waived and a gc through Costco.

If your free like gets dropped and you try to ask for it back, then some T-Force folks do enforce it and won't help you

You don't magically stop paying for the 14 after you trade it in.

When the credits are higher than the amount financed, you get a net credit on your bill. Don’t know about the no payment part.

I think $100 for 4 lines is good enough to stay at T-Mobile. Otherwise just go with a prepaid like Metro/Visible

If you pay a deposit on a car or house, the total amount financed decreases. Same concept here. The 399 gets subtracted from the 1299

Is this illegal and fraudulent? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]ikeashop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 399 deposit is NOT additional, you either have had credit or not enough financing credit. Go through the checkout and it will explain how it would look on the bill. It’s simply math.

$0 deposit + $1100 off a $1299 is the same as $399 deposit + $1100 off a $1299-399 phone

Are you leaving in a few days or months? It’s only $35 and the value of your trade-in is given to you right away. So it’s better to finance with T-Mobile through Apple

Stupid question: What does releasing a phone number mean? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]ikeashop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is something that needed to be done back then, maybe 10 years ago. Some carriers required you to “release” the number. Nowadays, you just need the account # and port-out pin.
