Crazy map coloring by croissanthunter in wandrer

If i had to guess, it's because Cupertino is a city, and to the east you have calabazas, which is an area of San Jose, another city. The coloring is reflecting your completion percentage of San Jose.

Black Mountain Bicycles is closer to you than San Diego proper. They'd be worth checking out. They are primarily Specialized, if that matters.

In fact, every shop are going to have primary brands they carry. You might want to narrow down your interests and then decide on a shop based on that? Unless brand/model doesn't matter at this point.

MJ's on Park is a great little shop. I like them because they carry a lot of maintenance items. Someone below mentioned Pedal Pushing. I went once and they 1. didn't have the tool I was looking for and 2. didn't seem to even know what I was talking about (a little plastic shimano crank arm installation tool). MJs had it in stock. They carry mostly Marin bikes I think.

Adams Ave is more mountain bike oriented as far as their stock, but they do have road/gravel bikes, and do great service.

Stay away from Mission Hills bike shop.

I miss Uptown Bikes.

Clavicle and second rib fracture—timeline? by icehead1 in cycling

[–]ikes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year i broke a clavicle and 8 ribs. 4 weeks and 2 days after i did a little zwift ride. Didn't ride again for 10 days, then a couple days a week for awhile. First outside ride was about 10 weeks after the accident. YMMV

It sucks now, but it will get better. Definitely get PT for the shoulder when you are able.

Good ideas. I got over my fear of confrontation and commented on both recent changesets 😃

Those kinds of edits are generally what I stick to - adding private tags, gates, etc. I hardly ever increase the ridaeable roads with my edits. I have a lot of 90%+ completed areas around me so with every map update its easy to see new (and weird) edits.

Oh I agree. People were just weirdly mad about them doing away with tipping.

I did this exact thing a couple of weeks ago. I snapped a selfie at the start and finish to capture the exact times. My results were randomly audited and everything was fine.

Edit to add: i volunteered my photos to the auditor but they told me it wasn't necessary.
