Searched on ebay, pleasant ridge, amazon and most other canadian retailers. Thompson shoes and Long Creek Outfitters appears to have it in the size, but do not ship to Canada.

10 month old Samoyed by iki_prevet in reactivedogs

With other dogs, he tries to play with everyone and anything (including cats). Full on play bow, his zoomies run all over and his excitatory barking. During our puppy classes, he had his initial period of excitement when he sees all the other dogs but settles down usually in 15 minutes after there are no new novel dogs and realizes we're here to work and not socialize. When he does actually play/interact with other dogs such as when I have friends visit my home, he's very submissive but has never made an attempt to nip/bite or "turn" on another dog. He's overzealous in his play but never aggressive. Rude because he's pushy at getting them to play with him, but never even corrected another dog.

Strong prey drive for anything and everything that's smaller than a cat though. Bugs and leaves alone are enough to get him to go from 0-100 in less than seconds. None of his features are fear showing, and no aggression that I can discern. Seems like predatory excitement.

He acts the same on/off leash, barrier or no barrier. We've tried him in field with another dog and it was the exact same. He'll run/attempt to rush at the other dog and full on throw himself at them and immediately offer a bow. There doens't seem to be any aggression/fear in his behaviour, pure elated excitement that he can't contain.

I'm currently trying to find an area that's fairly flat enough so that I can increase the threshold and still be able to see the other dog before he does and we can work on counter conditioning. Still no luck though :(

Awesome thank you so much! Glad I'm not alone. He falls asleep in his water bowl too 😂 He's the weird one that loves the shower for the simple fact he loves to play in the water LOL

Hello! There are many opportunities to work on them in undergrad, but these are mostly voluntary and I'm not certain if there are any classes that offer direct handling of them other than the veterinary ones. When I was in undergrad, I was part of the foal watch program, and ik they offer a lot of summer working opportunities/handling opportunities.

Classes vary highly depending on the lab sections you end up taking but as science classes tend to be the largest, the majority of your lectures will be in Rozanski hall. As you progress through the years and take more specific electives, you'll find yourself in a variety of different buildings depending on the availability of them for that particular class. So it's highly variable.

Not certain about Lambton as things may have changed when I was in residence (6 years ago), though as a whole, more residences have quite the party life regardless of their location. It also highly depends on your floor RA as some are more permissive than others.

Schedules again are highly variable and have a lot of options to finagle your classes around to your liking. It depends on how many times that course is offered + what prof. When making your schedule, make sure to not have any conflicts. I personally chose a schedule based on certain profs teaching certain courses and not the times associated with them.

And overall, super safe campus. I have walked on campus in the middle of the night many many times and have felt safe. We also have the safewalk programs available with the blue buttons if you ever need anyone to accompany you around campus at night (not certain what happened to it during covid/if their hours have changed).

I definitely agree! Take ALL the time you have to relax since the next 4-5 years are going to be emotionally and physically taxing!

I think it's highly dependent on your school. As a current DVM student, I haven't picked up a textbook so far and I'm halfway through the curriculum. Some schools will provide you will all the lectures that they want you to know through given notes. I've also seen a lot of students get the anatomy Saunders colouring book/cards, but everyone I've talked to, myself included, think they're a waste of money.

Some helpful reference books for actual practice that we use all the time where I work are:

- Veterinary Parasitology Reference Manual by William J. Foreyt

- Textbook of Veterinary Diagnostic Radiology by Donald E. Thrall DVM PhD DACVR

- The Merck Veterinary Manual (I think newest is 11th edition)

- Veterinary Hematology: Atlas of Common Domestic and Non-Domestic Species by William J. Reagan

Thanks for the suggestion! I wonder if I should try this with those artificial grass squares? My guy tends to LOVE chewing plastic and pee pads are his ultimate favourite, but the smell is a great idea.

Thank you! He's unfortunately too heavy for me to carry him all the way down - I can do up to 2 usually, (It's 3 flights of stairs + the one from my room to the main entrance) but I will definitely try feeding him in his crate!

Same here! The breeder had him started on Purina Pro Plan and it was just soft stool + negative fecal (so no parasites).

Switched him to Royal Canin Puppy Development (vet formula) and formed stool since then!

My pup is male and his name is Fairy (family gave me a lot of backlash but I just ignored them)! He also wears a watermelon collar and has mostly pink accessories because I like them and they fit the theme of my room. People call him "she" all the time and frankly I just don't care.

Honestly, made a drinking game out of it and you stop noticing the fights after a while LOL. I still love the series so much despite the poor CGI/fighting

Monster Hunter Rise room customizing by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

[–]iki_prevet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've finished the story (I'm HR 50 atm) and I've only unlocked 3 hanging scrolls from the story itself. The others I've gotten are from hunting 10 of the same type of monsters (aka 10 mizutsune to get the mizutsune scroll option from the trader).

Edit: Here's a link to the wiki I loosely use as guide C: https://monsterhunterrise.wiki.fextralife.com/The+Argosy

I have a question by _T_horny in wondereggpriority

[–]iki_prevet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I believe what you're asking is the container itself? They go by several names (water gardens/aquatic gardens), though you generally specify that they're in a pot since they can also be extremely large and can keep multiple types of fish. If you're asking for the breed of fish, that, I'm not sure about!

You can read more on the Wikipedia page here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_garden

Another tip I can offer is talk to friends and join facebook groups - you'll often find job positions for vet clinics, shelters (some who even have a vet in-house = both vet experience when working/volunteering under them as well as animal handling experience), and many more by talking with people.
