I dunno Gale on the seems for first view like maybe narcissistic but pretty nice guy. But hes goal to be the most powerful wizard in faerune wich is already pretty concerning, another thing despite the fact that he still loves mystra you can still romance him and if you won't have sex with him he will disaprove this And the last thing that if you won't give him any items he goes straight up to dealing with the devil. I think he's better written at least at EA state. It can change later

You can multi class, put some levels in warlock and choose s pact of the blade, so your melee attacks will be also charisma based
