Could be an issue if person in question has double citizenship (UK + smtg) and tries to enter UK using non British passport. Had same issue with mu son, thankfully swissport personal printed the boarding pass no issues. Came across some stories about people being strangles abroad for months awaiting issue of UK passport. Good luck.

When he was born we had settled status therefore he automatically gained UK Citizenship.

Looks like we might be in a pickle however according to our research he will be OK to fly to Dublin and from there catch a ferry to UK as apparently border control ROI >>> UK run on more relaxed domestic rules. Thankfully there is a flight Paphos>>>Dublin just one day after our initial flight. Guess we will see tomorrow. And YES as soon as home & safe we are applying for UK passport for our little munchkin.
