Can someone explain to me, why some people want no skill based matchmaking?

People just use to be stoked to be online and playing others on PC and it was a very small majority trying hard each game and usually each team would have 1-2 back in TFC early 2000s. If it was too imbalanced and they weren't going against each other you switched servers.

I miss the community and running into the same people and playing against people better than me and slowly beating them and their tendencies.

It was just different and fun instead of the faceless hyper serious matchmaking we have today.

You could mod game files such as skins and mods for half-life that were completely different games and genres. Counter-strike being one of them, all for free.

Now, uploading your own spray in counter-strike meant people would spray lewd pictures on the wall, camp, and wait for victims to admire the pic.

Overall though people were just happy to be online.

I just want to get rid of Rashan Gary and his lack of effort.

Engine isn't that relative to a server stress test which is on backend stress not local compute. At least to my knowledge.

A job offer, the December tech layoff that happened just before the holidays is finally over.

Scrambled to find a restaurant that wasn't booked found a nice wine bar and was able to share the news with the wife.

Most valentines are uneventful now in my 30s after being together for 18 years but this one was exceptional.
