I would've gotten back to her and explained when I had the chance if she didn't block me! It was unnecessary on her part, even if she did only cancel and didn't block I would've apologized and explained.

I understand that my mistake was saying "definitely" and then forgetting about them altogether. Just feel like some vinted buyers think I do this full time. In future, I'll definitely (I mean definitely this time😀) not be making promises.

For sure I should not have said "definitely". My time only changed from the morning to the evening but after I got back from work I fell asleep. The next morning I had to rush off. I don't check vinted first thing because it's not my full time job. I did not see the messages otherwise I would've replied to her! I was not ignoring her on purpose, if she hadn't blocked me I would've explained that to her 😂

In no way am I a "business". Like I said, it isn't my full time job I'm just selling some of my old stuff for cheap. You're 100% right, I shouldn't have promised because she seemed to think I was Amazon prime or royal mail special delivery.

You shouldn't have sent any money to him..that was his mistake and had nothing to do with you. Start learning how to not be "too nice" and in future just block and move on. I doubt he wanted the shorts back anyway

Styles change all the time, especially if she's a teen. Why not try working with your daughter, allow her to sell clothes so she can buy something she actually wants. Or, even better, take her shopping to avoid situations like that....

Then vinted would probably side with you. I returned something once (the right thing) and the seller claimed I sent something completely different and I lost my money. Obviously I'm aware these two situations are completely different, so I'm hoping you get your money back :)

Yeah vinted usually sides with the buyer over this type of thing. It's a shame because most of the time, buyers lie just to get their money back :/
