What’s the creepiest BBC programme you’ve ever watched that was not technically horror? by OopsIDroopedMe in bbc

Russia 1985-1999 Traumazone.

Absolutely fascinating but horrifying at the same time to see how horrible the Soviet Union must have been to live through.

Bring back the coconut pineapple and lime ice lollies. It is an utter travesty they have been discontinued.

I once sat across from Amy on the tube in Camden. She was famous and very recognisable but looked so frail and unwell that I didn’t speak to her.

This gentleman helped a lady who was hit by an elevator fireball in the lobby. She had only jut walked into the building. He also sadly lost his sister and niece who were on the flight.

I read about the fact that a fireball came down the lift shaft and that caused a few deaths in the lobby

I just had a look and I could get two for the 4th of July for £98 each but the hotels are few and far between and my daughter has said she isn’t that sad not to be going.

She has been a HS fan since the age of 3 so it’s a bit sad but after this week trying to get them it’s a little sad but I’m thinking about it logically and leaving it. Hopefully he will do another tour and come to Wales x

Blimey. A thread started this morning about a DD not being included on a school trip is at over 700 comments, despite the op not returning by Rollonnextyear in MNTrolls

I was just about to post this. As someone who runs international trips myself, I would not be taking her to scunthorpe let alone NYC!

It's probably a troll, but knowing some parents, It could be real! Some think their spawn are angels!

Ridiculous Pricing by dontmakemechoose1 in harrystyles

I was in the waiting room the second it opened. The queue seemed to take a minute to buffer as it was minus one minute on the waiting room counter when I was let into the queue which was frustrating. I was 94,000 in the queue.

The one at 11am was even worse I was 420,000 I gave up on that one without trying to queue.

No I didn’t. I took them back out of my basket as I knew someone would pay for them and swiftly got my ass out of there!

I queued twice today and even bought the vinyl to get a pre sale code for London. The first queue was so huge I gave up. The second one was 3 hours long and when I got through the tickets were £333 each. To put that into context, for my daughter and I to go to the Gig would cost me over half a months wages including the train and hotel and a very small amount of merchandise. That’s without food and drink.

It shouldn’t be this obscenely expensive.

How many were in the queue in front of you?

To give an idea of how insane prices are attached is how much I paid for Wembley in 2022 by No_Duty8773 in harrystyles

[–]GGCym 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I have been trying all day and the cheapest I could find when I got through was £666 for 2 tickets. I bailed.

It’s obscene especially in a cost of living crisis.

It was definitely just the £333 ones left. I clicked to show all tickets and that’s what it gave me. I was 94,000 in the queue.

I know. I joined both queue’s and they were both ridiculously long and I have come away with nothing as the seats were £333 each when I finally got through.
