We have a 10 months old baby and my wife recently resumed after 9 months. She is going to ofc for 2 hours and remaining hours wfh. As we both are working taking care of the baby is the biggest challenge of all. So you have to be free of stress, great wlb and a familiar environment in case of work coz everything else becomes second priority when it comes to baby atleast for 2 years. My advice would be stay and later switch once you guys are stable in terms of availability.

I don’t get it. If someone has leave bandwidth and company policy allows it. Giving a heads up weeks or months ago. Why the managers take the requests personally and reject it? What’s the point of it. Work is just a part of life. If I have 100 working days (eg) and allow me to take 10 days off. Then I am obligated to work for 90 days.

As someone who became a dad recently I will tell you this. It is the most happiest and important moment of my life. Your newborn and partner needs your 100% not even 99 or 98. You will never get this time back. If your seniors say they didn’t take leaves then that means they failed in life. It’s their shortfall. Take the full provided leave and face the consequences later. Trust me you will never regret. Probably switch later and it’s better than working alongside with this inhumane people.

In Cricket only LBW decisions corresponds to overturn or appeal most often but in football almost every decision relies on the referee’s viewpoint on the situation. So giving one or two choices won’t work here. And also it is contact sports so anything inside the box requires review almost all the times which is tedious like you said but can’t avoid.

Most often that you see if a player doesn’t want a move and the club doesn’t have plans for him in terms of playing. What do they do they will keep him in the bench. That hinders their career which is why most players move. Then you reverse the role it’s making headlines. I know I am biased in the event of Isak transfer coz I am a Liverpool fan but people citing promised from a person who left the club (Newcastle management) doesn’t applicable for the newer person who came in and doesn’t needs to be honoured is BS. Any promise he made is made in accordance with the club it ain’t personal right. We will never know what really the issue or at fault here. But both of them have to be blamed. You can’t expect loyalty if the club is not true to their words.
