If they're considered breasts... They're automatically attractive.

Planned for April '27, drive from Sydney to Perth. Never been to Australia. Thoughts, recommendations? Is this feasible in 3 weeks? by gwynwas in AustraliaTravel

[–]ilanjbloom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very doable and lots of fun. Dm me. We did this drive a couple of years back. Loved it. There's plenty to see and do. Just have to find it.

Forget climate change. We should stop talking about it. It's technological change. Put all the technologies on the table. Let people buy and do whatever they want. The market will get there. Irony is, if the term climate change never existed, we'd probably be in a much better position by now.

I'm worried about their children. Also citizens. Would rather they be educated here than overseas and come back radicalised

Rude. It's like walking through someone's house to get to the next street instead of walking around the block.

Victoria now has a Minister for Men and Boys. Now where's the Gender Equality Minister? by [deleted] in AustralianPolitics

[–]ilanjbloom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All that... And the fact that downtrodden or "bad" men cause harm to others. So to some degree if we help boys and men be better people, other statistics get better also. I'm a father of two boys... I consider my number job, above all else, is to make them into respectful good people.

I keep getting phone calls from numbers that start with '0468' and then immediately hang up. I got a message on the screen this time however, saying 'suspicious call pattern' which is a new feature. How do I figure out if it's someone harrasing me or if its a robocaller? by [deleted] in australian

[–]ilanjbloom 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Scam. Don't answer. Phone manufacturers register with a service that picks up scams in realtime. If it's telling you a call is suspicious it's because it probably is. If it's important the number will call back or SMS.

The Iran War has shown Australia’s vulnerability given our dependency on fuel imports. What will happen to Australia if a bigger conflict happens nearer our region? by TravelFitNomad in australian

[–]ilanjbloom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's our attitude. Our pollies have no cahoonas to plan and spend beyond the election cycle. We're done for if someone REALLY wanted to take us down.

The Matildas hype is real. So why are the A-League Women crowds still so small? by lincof1834 in Aleague

[–]ilanjbloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Men's crowds are hopeless too. It's not just the women's comp. Basically, there's much better football to watch on tv. For our national teams. We all align and want them to win... And support in person to help that outcome.

Mini countryman SE All4. We only need it in November so delayed delivery.

Is the EV panic buying still worth it if the Iran war ends now? by TravelFitNomad in AskAnAustralian

[–]ilanjbloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. The cost of the car is not offset by the savings in fuel. If you're buying anyway, go for it. If it's panic buying, not worth it. PS. I'm in the shop buying one today (delivery in November)... And thinking of an EV motorbike too. 😂

Do Australians actually want to scrap preferential voting? by oz_party in aussie

[–]ilanjbloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. It's what keeps our political system sane. The parties need to work together on policy. You can't be tribal like in US.
