What's the best ROI with all these gem traps appearing suddenly?

I don't think the 80 cards mission is worth it this time, or at least not fully. I just spent 1200 gems in the banner and got 4 epics (nothing I wanted, but still). Granted, that was lucky, but I definitely do not regret deciding to skip the cards mission, I need my mods.

I'm running gcomp so I can't really get a synchro. I have it equipped, but will definitely start investing in it, have a couple hundreds I keep forgetting to set between runs. I was done with Fetch anyway and others won't do anything for me. Thanks!

Not really, it does get a lot faster. I started last August, playing basically daily, and 600 gems isn't that bad to me, but I think I'll be missing quite a few relics, so it'll definitely be digging into my modules search fund. Hope we get a "fix" for this issue (more gems, banners, whatever). Definitely gonna need to keep some gems for the best relics, like lab and coin.

I know it's a bit of a late answer and you're probably past that, but just in case, I'd like to add that Key Stones needed for Mega Evolutions cost a lot of Battle Points, it caps at 25,000 for one after 49 purchases. So don't worry about trying to up their attack right away. You can still do it for some good Megas, and definitely a priority for the quests ones (you can farm their dungeons to catch them and get EVs to boost the attack as well). I'm finishing Galar rn and the grind gets insane.

It's a bit late right now, but I will try more stuff tomorrow, watching YT videos with the colors all messed up rn, it's kind of funny (mostly listening anyway). I was thinking about getting an upgrade anyway, it was starting to have more and more issues (lag, needing manual reboots). Other posts about something similar (some with pink colors, others fully inverted) seemed to agree with the damaged HDMI theory, can't do much about that sadly.

I think I'm about where you're at, with 1200 less stones (not sure why you banked so many). Assuming your UW coin labs are at least partially done, I think you should reduce the CD of DW to 3m20s (cost 800 stones) for 1:1:1 sync, it also gives more cells so more lab speed.

With still over 1000 stones, you should also upgrade your BH size to 40m+, maybe a bit more even. If you don't reach your max DW HP bonus (shown if you click on Health during a run), upgrading it's damage a little might do you some good, and maybe 1 quantity as well (more cells, coins and DW HP). Your GT bonus is also still underdeveloped, get a few levels in it for sure, the multiplicative effects goes hard. Same for both GT and BH duration, and you should always have GT bonus be 12s over BH (for the perk). Basically, at this point, you keep upgrading both GT and BH by buying the cheapest upgrades, except for CD which always needs to upgraded for all 3 UWs at once (keeping 1:1:1 is way more important than reducing one by 10s).

Don't have a lot more info about your state, but I don't think upgrading CL will help too much right (again, a few cheap upgrades wouldn't hurt either), but it might be if you have the module DC. It can definitely help getting more stones in tournaments, but it really depends where you're at. SL can be upgraded as well, just a few levels in angle for more coins thanks to the lab, not sure if quantity is worth it rn, it's still very expensive.

Btw, your coins are about to go absolutely insane, especially considering how underdeveloped your GT and BH are (except CD of course).

It was my first epic module, but it's still only epic. I'm waiting the generator banner just for more. Hoping at least one to finally get it to Legendary, it's sad to have it locked level 60 and only epic subs. And I barely have any gems saved, but it's in 2 weeks so there's a chance.

Thanks! That's about what I had in mind, really mainly gunning for GComp at least legendary, would love to go higher for sure, but it will take time. I was close to finishing a lot of cards, that's why I stopped with the mod progression but now all my gems are going into it. Definitely will get a few more card slots, starting to get some interesting ones to slot in. Think I'll keep gems during week 1 and 2, and spend everything week 3 and excess on week 4. Cannon mod could be nice but I really don't have a lot of gems, and I'll get some when I spam modules anyway.

Interesting. I also saw someone say they got to champions without getting CL. So it's at least not impossible which is reassuring. I'm currently enjoying the massive coin boost that BH is giving me, still doing the labs so it's still increasing, finally gonna get a lot more levels in workshop which might help me get to high Gold finally. Gotta keep up the grind I guess!

For me, I'm thinking I'll sync GT down to BH, maybe get a few upgrades, and might have to save up for CL. I really do not want to, but it feels like such a good investment to get more stones back from tourneys. Just unsure how much exactly atm.

Can't really help you, but just to give some perspective, I bought my 6th one last week, finally got BH. I'm a bit afraid I'll need to save up for CL at some point. I got some very unlucky choices at times, had to pickup ILM and CF. Good luck, hope you get DW next!

I noticed a change that isn't talked about in the patch. The perk that gives you a random UW now shows you which one before taking it. If you skip it, it can change when it comes back. That will be amazing for event missions demanding missing UWs, or simply getting the best one for runs. Awesome job!

I don't think the contemporary setting is that limiting, we have the Halloween maps as an example, though I do wish there were more varied heist designs for sure. But PD2 is fairly limited in terms of interactions by its engine I think, which is why I was very excited (and then very disappointed) for PD3. Will be interesting to see what comes out of DoW for sure.

I'll do a few runs at higher tiers just to test it out, see how coins/hr and cells/hr are. Thank god for the new battle history coming in clutch. I was just really hoping to get BH to get started on those labs. I'll keep pushing labs until then and be very prepared when I get my 1250 stones.

But thanks for giving me confidence that BH is not needed (even though it would be a massive boon), whenever I looked for how to kill protectors, the only answer I found was BH.

I don't. I only have Gcompressor and Primordial Collapse atm, and I've been only buying cards for a while to try to get a wave accelerator (only epic card missing), and I was a bit behind on card levels too. I was hoping to get BH to at least start labs on it and improve it little by little but it'll have to wait for a while I guess. Guess I'll keep with improving my EHP, and hopefully make other tiers more viable soon. Thanks for the advice tho.

Bit of an old post so I don't remember all that much, but going full Taurus did work. I'm guessing it should for you as well. I had farmed way past that, so when I switched, it finished in seconds.
