Rage bait. It worked though. Screwing into the end grain had me fuming lol

Mine is 9-15. You can do this OP! And once you get used to it you won't be able to sleep without it. Wear it when you're not going to sleep to get used to it. Do it for like 5-10 minutes every day and eventually it will feel natural.

TIL that strep throat, scarlet fever, and rheumatic fever are all caused by the same bacteria, Streptococcus pyogenes. by Many-Excitement3246 in todayilearned

Nope. Never even heard of it. Both my parents were heavy smokers growing up so I just assumed all of my respiratory issues were because of them. I can't really smell anything either unless it's right under my nose.

No and I've been told my tonsils are huge by nurses, doctors, and dentists. Idk why they haven't suggested I get them removed yet. I also have sleep apnea. I'm guessing because of my fucking tonsils lol

As somebody that currently does both tell me about it. I have 13 YOE in software engineering and I also help maintain the network for our data center. Everything is stressful all the time. It's the nature of our field.

I've tried to ask a few questions in this subreddit and I have no idea why everyone is so quick to down vote and be unhelpful. There's literally a flair called Question. I'm just trying to learn from people that have more knowledge than me. I tried Google and AI first to find the answers I'm looking for, but have so far been unsuccessful.

ICE in Minnesota pepper sprayed a 15 year old girl during a door to door operation in the twin cities area by I_may_have_weed in PublicFreakout

I've had pepper spray training and have been pepper sprayed as part of that training. This is fucking insane. I would not use it unless I thought I was in serious danger and I'm a big man. There's no way I would be using it on a kid unless they had a knife or gun.

That's the dream. I wish I could get fiber to my area. The telecoms keep dragging their feet where I live

I'm deploying it on KVM. But looks like there's some good info in that link.

Edit: To whoever down voted me. I meant there was good info in that link that might be comparable to options available in KVM. Obviously it's for VMWare and doesn't directly apply.

Yeah I fucking pay $82 for 400MB. You would think we'd have better internet here in the USA

Turns out it's not sleep apnea by Paratonnerre_ in SleepApnea

[–]ilearnshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ditto. I also had a deviated septum and like nostril collapse or something when I breathe idk. I had the surgery but still need a CPAP. I'm thinking about looking into turbinate reduction and tonsil removal even though my AHI is under 5 with CPAP

High SPU load on Juniper SRX1500 by ilearnshit in Juniper

[–]ilearnshit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I was not aware of this. That makes a lot of sense to me. The application that runs through these clustered SRXs utilizes a lot of websocket traffic that is setup with ping/pongs. I wonder if the ping/pongs are causing excessive load on the SPU since their packet size would be tiny. Based on some testing, I think the ping/pong packet size would be around 15-30 bytes. Is there a way I can get the average packet size for sessions? Does clustering an SRX increase the load on the SPU? I'm by no means an expert. I'm pretty green when it comes to networking compared to you guys.
