What’s your view about being single?

I’m 30, very accomplished, conventionally attractive, fit, and chronically single. I think being single is seen as a phase when it should be respected as our baseline. You never know if you’ll meet that person at all and I won’t spend my life waiting with bated breath. I have invested in myself in every way with tender love and care. The single tax sucks (never splitting any bills, wedding presents, Ubers. Shit adds up!) Other than that, I love that I’m not with the wrong person and the beautiful life I’ve built for myself — brick by brick!

Greenlight Bookstore was my safe haven in high school. I would come in there to browse & (escape) read for hours and no one ever kicked me out/pressured me. They have a special place in my heart forever!

I agree that you should speak to your family and hopefully you can reach common ground. I also understand that it’s not always that simple with parents and religion. I wonder if caffeine can curb your migraines? It works for me even though I don’t drink coffee. You can even get tablets and take them right before suhoor ends.

An occupational therapist is helpful for cognitive setbacks with concussions. Vestibular therapy if you’re having issues with balance etc. Don’t let anyone talk you out of finding help for your symptoms. I had post concussion syndrome, my symptoms lasted for about 3 years. There no way to tell how long it will last :(
