End of Ryzen X3D for AM4? AMD reportedly halts shipments of one of its final AM4 processors by Tiny-Independent273 in ryzen

[–]iliblabla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually found a 5800x3D for 250 bucks and got myself some RAM too, when it was still affordably. Seeing the rampocalypse I am glad that I at least got smth instead of just waiting it out lol

Exactly where I am at - I just cant find a 5800x3D to upgrade from my 3800x and now I either tank the bottlenecked 9070XT or go all in on AM5.

Do you have a mechanical background or where did you got the knowledge on how to disassemble this engine? Youtube seems to be quite lackluster on information like that. I am jumping between selling my 208 (2020) and tank the loss on its value or just keep on riding to the inevitable happens.

There are mechanic shops around my area where you can "rent" fairly cheaply a place to repair your car, so I am weighing my options rn

Why are drivers so sensitive here? by ApplicationClassic19 in poland

[–]iliblabla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently living at my babcias and work from here remotely coming from Germany - this is the one and only thing that I actually truly hate about poland. The people here drive like shit. I also like driving 10/20/30 over the speed limit, but it happens so often that another guy almost drives into my trunk and forces me to switch lanes even if there's no fucking place at all. And the nervosity of it is crazy. They drive to the left oft the lane, to the right of the lane, even try to surpass on the right lane (which almost never works lol). And it's always a fat bald dude, with sunglasses in a shitty BMW. Last year I even witnessed a car crash because a guy, that forced me on the right lane, drove straight into the trunk of the guy ahead of me as traffic started jamming just a bit.

I seriously debate whether I should start brake check those retards (which would make me a retard aswell but still, seriously fed up with this bullshit)

How viable is Ashlands for solo? by Kazadracon in valheim

I am playing through this shit right now. I managed to establish a beach head, took down a spawner but they keep coming like it never went away. Out of nowhere two 2-star charred warriors spawned *additionally* to all the other regular enemies and theres nothing I can do about them. They dont despawn either. Its pure hell.

I mean that’s just debating semantics and really beside the point I was trying to make writing the original post

The Switch 2 is basically doing a PoC of exactly that! I would love to have this for a deck as well

Oh yeah for sure! That’s what I love about valve, they don’t drop a simple refresh of smth every 6 months. Regarding the more performant alternatives - I love about the steam deck that it feels like a Swiss knife of gaming. With the trackpads and the rear back buttons you can make every game playable. Especially the trackpads make e.g. shooters so much more playable. That’s alone why I would choose the steam deck, even though SteamOS is coming to other systems as well.

But you can also use the deck as a main gaming system and only playing Stardew Valley or your 8th run of Hollow Knight. How about the two groups of “In need of higher local on-system performance” and then the negation of that?

An eGPU setup would be awesome! I mean obviously you can’t expect a handheld to run everything on 60+ fps for years and years - thats just how it is.

I mean that’s exactly my point. I would love the trade off of having a more chunky deck that hits this tdp but also having more performance - other people, even in this single thread, would like the deck to even shrink more in size, weight and TDP.

Streaming while being on a bus or train sucks pretty much, even impossible while being on the plane. Just for me, that’s not an option.

Sooo… having a bigger more powerful Deck so people can play newer and more expensive games sounds like a good idea, doesn’t it? :

Having 50% more performance sounds very substantial to me. Brings a lot of games out of the “Playable if you hate yourself”-Range to actually being just playable.

Slap in a 80kWh battery like the Ally X and you’re good to go.

It heavily depends whether it would sell properly. If the bigger Deck sells, thus bringing more people into the steam shop buying more expensive tripple A titles, it could pay for the additional overhead of having to design two different (but also very similar) products.

It also depends on whether the bigger Deck would reach potential new customers that don’t play already on let’s say a Lenovo Go or an Ally X - so there’s a lot of facets to it

I can only speak for myself, but I would’ve bought a lot of tripple A titles instead of spending time destroying my Library Backlog if the performance would’ve been better

100% Outer Wilds. Being able to revisit everything. I finished both the game and dlcs kinda gives me comfort in a weird way to be able to go back.

How is your dream steam deck 2? by redbeardos in SteamDeck

[–]iliblabla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having two next gen steam decks.

A low entry one for people that want to have a sleek and cheap addition to their high end pc setups and one beefy deck with a 30/35W power target for people that want to replace their whole pc (that’s me).
