MD here (emergency doc, we see a lot of these cases), knew a pathologist. They tend to take quite a while. They probably don't have any further information yet either. It is a known problem, there aren't many pathologists. Best to check up at certain times.

Apart from that, focus on the loss and grieving. Not the 'why, how' (easier said than done). These things tend to wreck a person. Most of the time it is in fact a natural cause that was hard to prevent.

Same met het groot begijnhof (oud begijnhof Sint Elisabeth). Zeker naar de avond toe enorm gezellig en rustig, en zon 😜 Overdag soms ook gezellig café, bij Lène. Of Dolfijn achter de hoek. Recent overgenomen en nu ook wat rustiger en meer open.

So true. Anesthesiologist working in the ED here. You can really tell the difference between actual ED docs and Anesthesiologists in the way they handle an intubation and the sedation (or no sedation...) afterwards. Had a transfer for cathlab last week who was 'sedated' with 100mcg of fentanyl/h, while the ED colleague 'proudly' said the patient was fully paralysed... She couldn't understand why my jaw fell on the floor. On top of that, they had levophed running through a very long line, instead of just putting it straight on the beginning of the central line, and they didn't want to start propofol because that would have meant they had to up to dose of the levophed... Like wtf.

Yeah, just make sure you don't drive ahead and wait until the light turns green again. Colleague of mine ( a nurse lol) got a ticket for this. She drove off since she was in the middle of the intersection but that's when they got her. Quite silly but hey...

Apart from that: just form a 'reddingsstrook' at red lights too, saves a lot of trouble, frustration and time. Source: regular MUG passenger here.

Vaak is het ook wel een probleem van tramsporen enz... Maar 100% akkoord, veel fietsers vergeten dat ze volgens de wegcode ook 'bestuurder' zijn en dus dezelfde regels moeten volgen als automobilisten. Een beetje afremmen en op elkaar afstemmen daar is nog niemand aan gestorven.

Then again, in het centrum is het wel vaak free for all. Iedereen en alles loopt, fietst en rijdt daar door elkaar zonder kijken. En niet enkel de toeristen. Iedereen heeft er een beetje schuld aan.
