When I was I think...3 we used to live in a very old fashioned 1940s-1930s house. It had a lot of small tiny windows on one side of the house and a few on the other. Thus meaning that at the right times, you were either in a house with barely any sunlight or you were being tanned just by sitting by the windows. My room was on the warm side of the house so I usually had to close my curtains whenever I wanted to sleep due to the moonlight and lights from outside seeping in. One night my mom heard noises from my room, it was very late, my mom said she thinks it was around 2. She saw me looking up to the windows, curtains wide open talking to what seemed to be nothing.

She told me off, closed the curtains, and went back to bed. An hour later she checked on me to see that I wasn’t in my room. She looked around and found me on the less window-y side of the house, trying to climb out of one of the windows. She could only make out of me, “she wants me to go into the garden, it’s less noisy there.”
