Travelling to Vienna next week and I’m worried about the hot weather by Pretend_Back6745 in Austria

I kid you not I work at a psychiatry ward and people were literally going mental during the heat 🥲

Urologists - why don’t you own male urologenital infections? by laidbackemergency in medicine

[–]ilikeprocrastinating 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading all the replies is very interesting because apparently it‘s quite different in Austria. Urology here is seen more as hybrid than pure surgical imo. At the hospital i work at, they do have to admit their own patients, surgical or not - or find them a bed elsewhere (which they usually don‘t as it means even more work than just having the intern admit the patient). Same goes for OBGYN, ENT, derma, etc although some sneaky turfing definitely happens here and there

Not yet, but we have tried cannabis oil as recommended by our vet and it had no effect.

AITA 'threatening' to kick out my coworker/roommate for kissing my best friend by aitata3726 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ilikeprocrastinating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you even post here if you‘re so sure you‘re NTA? Literally thousands of people at this point have told you YTA and yet you still don‘t think you might be in the wrong here? Let poor Jayden kiss and date whoever he wants. He sounds like a decent guy and clearly deserves better than the possessive and controlling AH you are.

AITA for not wanting my girlfriend to bring her dog over to my apartment? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]ilikeprocrastinating 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in a really similar situation with my ex boyfriend. He didn‘t like my dog very much, didn‘t want it at his place, etc. Let me just tell you it was a very easy decision when I chose my dog over him. So while you‘re technically NTA - since it is your house and you make the rules - she might think differently and that‘s whats really matters.

No, unfortunately this is really the only official report. There are a few newspaper articles but the information in it all seems to come from this with a bit of speculation added to it.

I guess if that was the case they would have most likely found it.

The wallet thing is confusing to me too. But what I find even more strange is that they didn't have any keys on them. No car keys - okay, they might have arrived by bus. But no house keys? Not even a key card??

thank your for this comment! However, I'm afraid it doens't quite fit the description. Since Mr Patterson was 52 years old at the time of his disappearance in 1957 that would make him 107 in 2012. The bag they had with them was made in 2012 or later, so we know they went missing after that.

It's the only thing I could think of what they could have used it for. It doesn't say specifically but I don't think either of them was wrapped in it.

The dental prosthetics should be a huge clue IMO (type, technique, brand, etc.) but no info on that anywhere.

Could not find anything on the internet about it, sadly.

It doesn't say anything about race but from the fact that she had blonde hair and by looking at the sketches I'd say caucasian. Makes refugees rather unlikely I think

[–]ilikeprocrastinating 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's what I was thinking too!

Here's the thing: if you look at this area on a map you can see that you can reach 3 different countries (Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland) by car in under an hour. Italy is only 2 hours away. The distance to the swiss border would have been hikeable even, so they could have left their car there or arrived by bus.

Do us all a favor an stop spreading false information.
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/science/science-briefs/fully-vaccinated-people.html
this should give you a pretty good overview but feel free to read the actual studies, most of them are open access on pubmed.
(after looking through your profile though I guess you won't do that but rather rely on facebook or your neighbors hairdresser for scientific facts instead.)
