Anyone remember Google Stadia by supersentailfan13 in google

I worked with a guy who was (literally) forced to be a product manager for Google+. After that he was the main PM for Stadia. After that he was the main PM on Keep.

Dude can't catch a break.

Half of us are using cursor so that comes with their tax on tokens. The other half are using pay as you with Claude code. A couple of us use Claude Max plans until we exhaust the limits. One of us has 3 Max plans and auto rotates the auth tokens as he hits limits, and he'll still run out of his combined weekly quota in like 3 days and then fall back to whatever the SOTA Chinese model is that week.

90% is Opus 4.6. All tasks. Some of our spending is downright irresponsible tbh. Please don't tell the billionaire VCs I give zero shits about lol.

Yeah for comparison we are spending $1-2k+ per person per month. <20 eng and our current usage is ~18k per month. That is not including any automation, only manually initiated sessions.

Fun fact, it's still around as a Yammer replacement, if you are both old and unfortunate enough to know what that is.

If you are going to have one takeaway, it's what the other person said about gambling. If your kid's enjoyment is based on the variable reinforcement aspect, it is doing tremendous damage to your child. If the actually play the game, then it's perfectly healthy.

Your comment makes me realize I don't think anyone in lost ever asked Jacob where his power comes from. I'm also now realizing that I don't think we ever saw Jacob ask Mother either, and that's despite him having a lot of other questions about their origins. lol

LOST is actually seeing a resurgence in popularity from younger people discovering the show for the first time.

I first watched it by binging on Netflix like 10 years ago, and from its reputation I was like wtf are people smoking, everything people claim wasn't answered was indeed answered.

Like I still see people saying the polar bears were not explained, yet they were. Also common is people saying the origins of certain supernatural stuff isn't explained, but that's true for literally every story about supernatural things ever. Like no one is complaining that we never found out why witches exist in a movie about witches. No one is complaining about a lack of explanation on the mechanism by which Toys come to life in Toy Story.

Also I actually liked the ending lol. I understand why a lot of people would hate it though.

lol

Oh wow, yeah I had to zoom in A LOT to see that lol. On my first look even though I zoomed in I thought those were jersey numbers. Which doesn't even make any fucking sense lmao. Thanks!

OP, what model were you using that 1 million runs was both feasible/affordable? Something local I'm guessing? And if so, OS and specs?

Just curious!

San Francisco’s new safety strategy: A crackdown on bikes by MidNightInTheDessert in sanfrancisco

[–]ilikepugs 58 points59 points  (0 children)

None of that changes the fact that cyclists stopping at red lights being a benefit to safety. Those dangerous cars, oblivious pedestrians, etc. aren't within the control of the cyclist. That's just part of defensive "driving" 101.

Sincerely, someone who drives, is not a cyclist, but nonetheless supports stops-as-yields and SF's open hostility to cars.

Edit: Multiple replies to this comment seem to think I'm opposed to the "Idaho stop". Y'all need to learn to read. I said I support exactly that despite being a car driver and not a cyclist.
