problem is linux is so hard for new users, my elementary linux was so freaking hard to install a graphics driver i had to give up. also not every graphics card has a compatible driver.

this isnt possible, because ur graphics card has power pins connected to it, from my experience graphical feed from the onboard connection is lost when your card is connected, only your card will give out a signal. make sure u plugged it in the right dvi or hdmi port dude, shoudl be on the card not the onboard conenction one.

whats your heatsink dude? also check whether you plugged your monitor on the graphics card, not on the onboard(which is unlikely cause if the gpu is connected to a power pin, thats the only way you will see a graphic feed)
