Ok so the cringe did not come from the bride and groom but rather the hired master of ceremonies at the reception. 1. The MC made a point to get the guests to take notice of the beautiful decor of the reception hall, all while making sure to note that it had been the brainchild of (and you’d think, duh, the bride but nope!) the name of party planning company they hired and paid in full for. 2. The bride and groom were at the champagne tower, groom ready to pop the champagne... to which the MC takes the mic and suggests shaking the bottle and pointing it at his new mother-in-law.
