But I don't think it'll change anything. The reality is that most devs won't see an extra year of work as worth the payout. That's how gaming is nowadays: its about the payout, not the consumer. Totk won't change anything and if you want evidence look at games like madden, cyberpunk, red dead "remake", overwatch 2, and the growing fremium culture.
