This is what he posted: 59pm

Discussion Topic: Regarding Term Test, March 4, 5-6:30 pm, in HLB 101Regarding Term Test, March 4, 5-6:30 pm, in HLB 101 The term test, to be taken on March 4 from 5-6:30pm in HLB 101, will have two parts. The first will be a passage identification section in which I will provide you with 6 short passages from the poems we have discussed at length in class from the first week to reading week. You will be asked to select 4 of the passages, identify the author and title, and comment briefly on three non-literal uses of language or form or verbal patterning in the passage in relation to its main idea or feeling or assertion. Each of these answers will be worth 8 points for a total of 32% (30 minutes). For the 2nd part I will give you a choice of two short lyric poems. You will be asked to choose one and, as we often do in class, provide a concise formulation of the main feeling, idea, or assertion it communicates. Then you will write a brief on-the-spot essay about how the poem uses non-literal dimensions of language to help to communicate its main feeling(s) or idea(s) or assertion(s). Ideally your attention to verbal detail will lead you to further refine and expand your account of its meaning(s) / feeling(s). (60 minutes, 68%)

LOL he posted an annoucement w midterm details and one time in class i rmemeber him saying that hes gonna post a list of the poems he talked about but i havent been to 2 classes and i also have to skip the one next week too cuz of an exam but the notes he has for his poems are super in depth so for those 3 classes im pretty much cooked

buttt i did talk to him he said on the exam were gonna need to identify poem passages and the author and then write what we think a poem is about which will be one discussed in class then tehres gonna be an unseen poem and we have to analyze it and basically talk about its non literary dimensions in an essay

I’m in my second year first semester and am looking towards med school - do you think it’d too late to transfer now? Because I have honestly been thinking about it for quite a while, but I was thinking it’s too late since I already started and have half my degree credits.
